A Note from Dr H Sept 21st, Biden addressed the UN over climate change today.

“Challenges that require a united response include “ending this pandemic, addressing the climate crisis, managing shifts in global power dynamics, shaping the role of the world on vital issues like trade, cyber and emerging technologies and facing the threat of terrorism as it stands today,” Biden said.

What is astonishing reading the article is the squabbling between countries (and inside the US Congress) when all of the world is at grave risk and facing the worst consequences of climate change. Every minor increase in temperature has been found by climate scientists to cause an exponential change in the number and intensity of wildfires, droughts, flooding, heat waves, etc. If humanity can not rise to the challenge of working together for the benefit of present and future generations, then we will all suffer the consequences. Especially poorer countries and the poorer stratum of society. Climate injustice is racial injustice. That point seems to have escaped the world leaders on day one of the UN conference.
